Write down the revelation
Finally, I decided to give in -- here I am, another addition to the blog world. It has taken me a while to do this, because I didn't want to expose the deepest thoughts and feelings that I have. But I realized that this Blog can also bless people. I don't know who will read my entries, but it is just my hope and prayer that my blog will be a source of encouragement and wisdom to those who need them.
I was into journaling many years ago. Infact, when I was in the Philippines a few weeks back, I was reminded of those journals that I've done. So, I decided to read a few entries that I've made. I'm glad I did, because it brought back so many good memories to mind. My hunger and longing to have more of the Lord are evident on those pages. Not only that, my ups and downs are documented, so are the promises I had received from the Lord. My, was I dedicated! ..... I have to admit though, I desire to revive my journaling habit - I need to, if only to be able to document this journey that I am in called "life" :o) . But then again, journaling sounds so passe now adays, and since we are in the century where technology is the way, then blogging it is.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 that says"....Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
Thus, I resolved to start writing my thoughts, reflections and prayers once more....to write down promises, revelations (rhemas) from God, the struggles, triumphs and victories.. even some mundane day to day happenings. God's original intentions are our final destination. It would be nice to remember the journey that I have travelled and how God brought me to my destination - my destiny.
